Great news to report: Berta is adopted!!! This poor little (big) thing was dumped off at the shelter by a breeder. She was kept on a cage and all she did was eat and have puppies, over and over. When she wasn’t needed anymore, she was discarded like trash. Poor Berta was so fat when she came, almost triple the weight she should be, making her uncomfortable, unhealthy and not very mobile. Luck smiled on Berta in the form of the Gianni-Moscetti family who decided to foster her until we could find her a forever hone. Luckily for us, and especially for Berta, they decided to make it permanent and adopted Berta forever. GIVE US A VOICE would like to give a huge THANK YOU to this amazingly wonderful family for giving Berta a second chance at life. They have committed to helping Berta lose weight and feel good again and they are doing an amazing job!!!  Berta is loving her new lease on life and gets to go on all sorts of incredible adventures.
