GIVE US A VOICE has heart bursting news to report: Kikkinu is adopted! Kikkinu was found on the streets with a large scar on his neck and, to make matters worse, he was completely blind. It was obvious that he had a home at one point and was abandoned, left to fend for himself. Kikkinu got the second chance of a lifetime when his story captured the heart of Mme. Hélène Marelli. Even though dogs with disabilities, such as blindness, get along much better than most people assume, it still takes a special person to give one a chance. We would like to give a big THANK YOU to Mme. Marelli for giving Kikkinu that chance! Most senior dogs with disabilities end up living out the rest of their life in a small kennel in a noisy, confusing and concrete shelter – but not our Kikkinu. Chalk up another win for the underdogs thanks to Mme. Marelli! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
